AFTER THE WEDDING
Cleaning
Hem soil, grass, wine, makeup and the sugar stains you can’t see yet. Inspected under light, every embellishment tested, treated by hand.

FOR THE YEARS AFTER
Preservation
A museum-quality box, acid-free tissue and a bust form, whether you are saving the gown for the next generation or keeping it perfect to sell. Veil, sash and gloves can be preserved alongside.
BEFORE THE DAY
Pressing and fittings
Steaming and pressing for a gown that has traveled, spot cleaning after a fitting, bustle or hem alterations by our tailors.
PROCESS
Four weeks.
One pair of hands.
-
Consultation, by appointment. Book a time at any store and we look at the gown with you, noting fabric, construction and every stain. Or skip the visit: schedule a pickup, leave a note with the gown, and we’ll call you with what we find.
-
Hand treatment. Each stain is worked individually. Beads, sequins and glued embellishments are tested first.
-
Cleaning. Wet or dry cleaned according to the fabric, never by default.
-
Finishing and inspection. Hand-pressed, then checked seam by seam under light.
-
Preservation. Folded with acid-free tissue in an archival box, ready to be opened once a year or once a generation.
