No. There is no delivery fee and no minimum order for dry cleaning. You pay the same per-item prices you would at the counter; the only thing you give up is the drive.

No. Most customers leave their bag on the porch, with a doorman or in a garage. Tell us where in your account. You get a text or email when we pick up and a photo when we drop off.

Routes and the plant pause on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The day before and after may shift. Kiosks stay open.

Yes. Choose a weekly or every-other-week day and we’ll stop by whether or not you’ve scheduled. If the bag is empty, we simply move on.

Yes, please. Note it in the order or pin a note to the garment before it goes in the bag. If you know what caused the stain, say so; wine, oil and sugar are each treated differently, and knowing which one lets us remove it without harming the fabric.

Tell us, and send the garment back with your next pickup or drop it at any store; we always ask to see the piece before we decide anything. We re-clean it free. Sort by service: dry cleaning in one bag, wash and fold in another. Put a note inside each with your name, phone number and the service. Any bag works the first time; check the pockets and set it out before your window. Your order comes back with reusable Helena’s bags labeled by service, so there’s no sorting after that. Need more than one bag’s worth? Ask and we’ll drop off extras

Casual and business attire: pants, shorts, skirts, blouses, blazers, dry-cleaned men’s shirts, ties and the like. Alterations, gowns, household items, laundered shirts, wash and fold, by-the-pound orders, leather and other specialty items are priced separately.

Our routes keep expanding. Sign up and tell us where you are; we can often add you, sometimes with a small fee, and any of our three stores can take your garments in the meantime.

Some stains sit deep in the fabric and rise to the surface during cleaning, and some change color once cleaned. The sooner we get a garment, the easier a spot is to remove without harming the material. If you find a spot tag on a returned item, it means we stopped rather than risk the color; tell us and we’ll re-work it with your permission at no charge.

Yes. We check for missing or cracked buttons and replace standard ones free of charge. Buttons break because many are made without cleaning in mind and because they grow brittle with age.

Cotton shirts are laundered and pressed on the shirt press. Cotton handles water well, and natural fibers take that heat without complaint. Shirts with polyester or other synthetics in the weave can be wet cleaned or dry cleaned, but we don’t put them on the shirt press, because its heat can make a blended fabric separate. They are finished by hand instead, which is why they carry the hand-pressed price. The same goes for delicate fabrics and shirts with fragile buttons. If you’d rather we use a different process than the one we recommend, tell us and we’ll follow it, with the understanding that any damage that results is on your account rather than ours.
